Sadness was felt. Concern was in the air. Determination and strong belief was evident in the massive audience and in our performances! We were all adamant about not letting hate and fear win!... and so, we attended, we sang, we danced, we praised, we remembered!
For our bethren lost in Orlando and for the failed attempt at our own event, (man caught with explosives and weapons in his car heading to LA Pride), One of the organizers, Jamie Awad, asked Robin S. and Me to "take them to church a capella".. and so we did!

What an awesome show and celebration of life, love, and freedom. Czion, Cory and I are also celebrating our 20 years in dance music together!... still makin' it pop! God is indeed great!
Friday night, I performed with My High School Gospel Chorus reUnion Choir. SO much fun to see and hear everyone again. As many of you know, I went to The Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and Music & Art (The FAME school. The movie and tv show are about our school; started out in the old castle then we moved to Lincoln Center. .....So, I performed for Albany Black & Latino Gay Pride festival AND after-party with My boys / dancers, Cory & Czion. I had My cousin (and Ny-O-Dae Music recording artist-My label), DeVonde, perform her song LIFE, as a surprise. The crowd loved it and sang along!
The boys and I even did a Celia Cruz song... YES... in spanish! Czion sang that with Me, as well as the reggaeton tune that I made with Mark Shine and Mike Cruz called, "Jump Up & Down".
It was so much fun!

The next day, Czion and I caught up with the amazing Crystal Waters back stage after her performace at Queens Pride. Needless to say, her show gave Life! Luv huh!
Just a couple of weeks ago, I was in My former place of residence, Dusseldorf Germany, singing with a live band.
Here I am singing Roberta Flack's, FEEL LIKE MAKIN LOVE, with Valerie Scott and Keith Elliott Munerlyn on background vocals.
